Microbial culturomics lab: We have set up several anaerobic chambers dedicated for highthroughput microbiota culture and library development. Our culturomics method is able to isolate 70% of functional diversity of human microbiota. Our method is applicable to agriculturally imporant secies as well. Host-free Models of Gut Microbiome
Assembly of 12 Drip flow bioreactors

We use bioreactors as the host-free systems to model microbiota assembly, succession and pertubation. Drip flow bioreactors are used to model the microbiota interaction on the gut mucosal interface. Minibioreactor arrays are used model the interactions in the lumen of the hind gut. Example paper PMID: 34659185
