Microbial culturomics lab:  We have set up several anaerobic chambers dedicated for highthroughput microbiota culture and library development. Our culturomics method is able to isolate 70% of functional diversity of human microbiota. Our method is  applicable to agriculturally imporant secies as well.  Example papers are PMID: 32019832 and PMID: 32031212

 We use bioreactors as the host-free systems to model microbiota assembly, succession and pertubation.  Drip flow bioreactors are used to model the microbiota interaction on the gut mucosal interface. Minibioreactor arrays are used model the interactions in the lumen of the hind gut.  Example paper PMID: 34659185

 Our lab use multiple germfree models to understand the consequence of host-micorbiota interaction. Germfree models of mice, pig and chicken are available.  Example paper PMID: 30918057
